Course
Itinerary
FRIDAY EVENING: Participants arrive
at the Lodge at Pine Cove. Optional accommodation available. Please
contact the Lodge, www.frenchriver.com
SATURDAY: Knots, risk management considerations, equipment
Self-rescue, swimming , boat-based rescue, shore-based rescues,
strong swimmer rescues, organization, communication etc..Dinner
at the Lodge's fine dining room. Overnight accommodation at the
Lodge is recommended.
SUNDAY: Pinned boat rescues, rope tricks, Z-drags
pulley systems, sweeper swims, Eskimo Rolls etc.
Participants are responsible for own paddling equipment, paddle,
PFD, helmet, knife, rescue ropes(no canoe required). Please contact
the Lodge at Pine Cove to make accommodation arrangements.
