Missinaibi Pictographs

Wild and untamed, the Chapleau Crown Game Preserve is true Canadian wilderness. It is a nature lover's paradise.
On our Pictographs of the Game Preserve tour, we experience both the human and natural history of the world's largest game preserve. Led by a guide from the local First Nation community, we paddle through the home of moose, bear and beaver, ancient rock paintings, possibly 2000 years old, give witness to the aboriginal heritage of the land; ruins of fur-trade posts, mines and logging camps are testament to the cultrual and economic forces which shaped Canadian history.
All you need to bring is your clothes, personal items, sleeping bag and an anticipation for adventure-we'll supply the rest for this great adventure in wilderness canoeing, suitable for all ages.
