All day trips begin at Racine Lake, 18 miles N. of Chapleau. Transportation from Chapleau available upon request.

Hiking
Racine-Jenny Trail
A scenic motor boat ride to the trail head, with a walk back to your vehicle.
Length: 5 mile boat ride, 3 mile hike / 4-5 hours
Environment: marsh, river, lake, boreal and regenerated forest, esker, fen, pond
Wildlife: water fowl, eagle, beaver, moose and bear possible

Swanson River Trail * Suitable for Mountain Biking!
Hike old logging trails along the Swanson Esker, past a wilderness lake and back to your vehicle.
Length: 8 miles, 3 mile hike / 4-5 hours
Environment: marsh, boreal forest, esker, fen, beaver pond
Wildlife: Songbirds, eagle, lynx, wolf, moose and bear possible

Little Racine Canoe Trail
A gentle creek and lake paddle to end at Racine Lake Campground
Length: 3-5 miles / 1-3 hours
Environment: marsh, creek, lake

Jenny Lake Canoe Trail
A more demanding wilderness paddle to conclude at Racine Lake Campground
Length: 8 miles 1 portage (200m) / 5-6 hours

Wilderness Paddling
Chapleau River Waterfalls
A flatwater paddle to picnic at a waterfall, then return.
Length: 6 miles / 4 hours

Includes: Canoe or kayak, paddle, life jacket, map, shuttle to river (guided)

Chain of Lakes Canoe Trail
A paddle and lift-over into a series of untouched wilderness lakes with excellent Pike fishing
Length: 8 miles / 6-8 hours

Whitewater Canoe Instruction
A day paddling clinic teaching river reading, safety and manoeuvers in C-I rapids

Whitewater River Trip
Beginning with a boat shuttle, this is a challenging day of running rapids and portaging waterfalls
Length: 10 miles / 8 hours, 4 portages

While trips run daily (May to September), excursions are subject to staff and equipment availability. Early booking is recommended, especially for groups. Day excursions must be booked at least one day in advance. Rescheduling due to weather is possible.
